Support Needed for Arab-Jewish Music Collaboration Album

Dear Friend,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am a Christian Lebanese worship leader, songwriter and peacemaker. I am reaching out to you today with great excitement and anticipation. God has given me a mission to build bridges between Arabs and Jews. He has called me to promote understanding, healing, and reconciliation through the power or worship and unity. God has done so much already over the past three years on this journey.

In 2021, I achieved a significant milestone by performing and releasing a duet in Arabic with Israeli singer Yair Levi. This collaboration aimed to promote healing and unity between Lebanon and our Jewish neighboring countries. The song spread like wildfire, which led to interviews by news stations in Israel and multiple nations. Unfortunately, my commitment to peace also came at a cost, as the Lebanese government banned me from entering my own country. This is a reminder of the challenges we face when we choose to stand for truth in the face of conflict.

God strengthened me through the warfare, and I continued the mission and wrote the powerful song, “God of Israel,” which brought together American and Jewish musicians in a time of great pain and chaos. As a Christian, I see the command to bless Israel, to break division, and to speak His word no matter where I was born. I intentionally chose to work with musicians from Israel who are currently facing financial struggles due to the ongoing war. I’ve seen Jesus magnified through this and Jewish people have been amazed that as a Christian Lebanese woman, I have chosen love and not hate.

Now, I am embarking on a ground breaking music project on I scale that I have never done before. I am working on an album that will transcend borders and unite artists from different countries, including Israel and Iran. This project is very close to my heart, as it aims to showcase the power of unity in the midst of regional tensions. However, putting together an album comes with a financial challenge. Each song’s production costs between $4,000 and $5,000, and with a goal of 6 to 8 songs, the expenses quickly add up. I am reaching out to you because I believe in the power of worship, and prayer. God can impact nations and diverse people groups through His Spirit and love and my prayer is this will further promote healing and peace.

This album is not just about music; it’s about sowing seeds of peace and creating a better future for the next generations. I am an anomaly in the Middle East by undertaking a venture like this, and I am driven by the hope that God can shift atmospheres and hearts through these songs. History should not repeat itself, and the cycle of hatred must be broken for the sake of our children and the generations to come. Your support will directly benefit struggling Israeli musicians, as all funds raised will go toward their participation in the album’s production.
